When Plans Change: Exploring English-Speaking Cultures at Home
Unfortunately, not enough students signed up for our Ireland trip this year. As an alternative, our English teachers created a program designed not only to prepare students for next year’s final exams but also to provide rich cultural insights into the English-speaking world. Here's what one of our students had to say about the week:
Since our Ireland week, which we were all looking forward to, was sadly cancelled, our teachers organized a wonderful English week for us instead.
From yummy snacks and entertaining quizzes to Irish dancing, music, and educational trips to the theater and cinema, the week had it all.
Unfortunately, after Monday, Mrs. Hofmann was no longer able to attend L. However, Mrs. Fink took over very well, and of course, we would also like to thank Mrs. Terp, who contributed a lot to the organization. These experiences enabled us to feel the spirit of Ireland here in school.
All in all, it was a week that was well worth it - a fun and educational week that was filled with the unknowns of new experiences and discoveries, albeit not quite as we had intended.
